Britney Spears buys a $6.55 million dollar house

Britney, who has been looking at properties since the beginning of this month, when she ran foul of Child Protective Services, may have found what she was looking.

On Sunday, after lunch, Britney spent around 40 minutes looking at an eight bathroom 8,370 square foot Mediterranean style mansion set on 3.1 acres in the mega expensive area of Pacific Palisades Britney. Apparently she was impressed with what she saw because she dispatched her bodyguard and the real estate agents on an errand, leaving her alone in the house with her two sons.

To the amazement of the photogs outside the property, the guard and the real estate agent picked up the open house and for sale signs and put it in the car belonging to Britney’s bodyguards before driving off.
